Project Overview
Reimagining Home Beverage Delivery: Addressing the challenge of long wait times, lukewarm products, and lackluster experiences, this project focuses on creating a premium home beverage delivery service. Our goal was to enhance every aspect of the delivery process, making it a remarkable experience for users.
My Role
In this SCADxro Collaboration, I played a role in reshaping the customer experience. My responsibilities included conducting in-depth user interviews to build our understanding of the market, which supported our affinization process and the creation of detailed customer journey maps and personas. I also collaborated closely with the product development team, contributing to user interface designs and prototyping for the project's video presentation.
Affinitization
Our research identified two primary types of coffee consumers: those prioritizing convenience and those seeking an enriching experience. This insight was pivotal in tailoring our service to meet diverse consumer needs effectively.
Personas
Initial research unveiled a variety of coffee drinker profiles and delivery dynamics. We refined our focus to two main target personas, optimizing our strategies to serve these core groups effectively.
Journey Map
Utilizing the persona insights. we crafted detailed journey maps for both the delivery drivers and the customers. These maps were instrumental in identifying and mitigating pain points, thereby streamlining the delivery process and enhancing user satisfaction.
Phase 1 : UI Design - Driver
UI Design for Drivers: This stage involved designing a user interface that organizes deliveries into time slots and zones, allowing drivers to efficiently manage multiple drop-offs. Features include real-time tracking of beverage preparation and detailed order information, enabling drivers to optimize their routes and delivery strategies.
Phase 2 UI Update
After this project, I went back to revamp the driver app focusing on touchpoints such as machine connectivity, driver scheduling/earnings, and ordering list.
