I’m Skyler
I'm a designer with a Master's in Service Design from SCAD. Right now, I'm at JPMorgan Chase designing tools that make financial advisors' lives easier (and help them better serve their clients).
I'm obsessed with getting to the root of problems instead of just polishing the surface. I dig into research, think in systems, and create experiences that work for everyone involved. Each project teaches me something new about how people behave versus how we think they do.
Before I entered the design field, I spent years working as a barista. It turns out that learning to read customers, anticipating what they need, and creating those perfect little moments translates pretty well to design. That people-first mindset is still at the core of everything I do.
When I'm not designing, you can find me training and racing with elite cycling programs, competing nationally. The discipline and strategic thinking required in competitive cycling translates directly to how I approach complex design challenges.
